A four-day long program celebrating “Bangladesh International Model United Nations (BiMUN) 2023” organised by United Nations Youth & Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB) ended on Saturday at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in Dhaka.
French Ambassador to Bangladesh, H.E. Mrs. Marie Masdupuy was present as a chief guest and Registrar of AIUB, Group Captain (Ret.) Dr. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan was present as a special guest at the closing ceremony of BiMUN-2023.
BiMUN-2023 conducted ten committee sessions successfully throughout the event, which ended with the closing plenary. All the delegates of BiMUN-2023 came up with different resolutions to combat global issues.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today told the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) that Bangladesh is not taking loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on any condition.
"IMF only lends (to any country) when the country attains the ability for repayment. We are not taking loan (from the IMF) with any condition," she said while responding to a question from the Jatiya Party lawmaker Md Mujibul Haque of Kishoreganj-3 constituency.

A special fund of at least Tk 1.5 billion is going to be created for road-accident victims and fatally injured people, as the Road Transport Rules 2022 (RTR) has kept the provision of forming the fund by collecting fees from vehicles.
