2-day long int’l workshop on syllabus at JU

A two-day long an international workshop titled ‘Upgrading the Syllabuses (MA, Mphil/PhD) and Course Pack Development’ began at Jahangirnagar University on Saturday. The   Philosophy department organised the programme at the seminar room of their respective department.

At about 10.00 am, JU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof. Farzana Islam inaugurated the programme as the chief guest. At the meantime, Prof. Farzana Islam expressing delight that and said that upgrading syllabuses would be helped to the students to be human resource. It also helps them to increase their skills and performances to cope with the competitive world.

Directed by Prof. Kamrul Ahsan of Philosophy department, Pro-VC Prof. Abul Hossain and Treasurer Prof. Abul Khair, Arts and Humanities dean Prof. Sayed Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, VC of Eastern University Prof. Abdur Rab, Prof. Sharif Uddin of North South University, Prof. Norman Keneth of Liverpool University, UK, Prof. Michael Magee were present while chairman of Philosophy department Prof. Tarek Chowdhury chaired the programme.
