The 44th Annual General Meeting of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Wednesday, (19 April 2016) with Mr. Golam Mainuddin, Chairman, British American Tobacco Bangladesh, in the chair.
A large number of shareholders attended the meeting and unanimously passed the Accounts 
In 2016, the Company contributed Tk 13,631 crore as value added tax, supplementary duty and other taxes to the national exchequer. This contribution makes BAT Bangladesh as the highest tax payer in the country.
