Account opened for street urchin at Bank Asia

To create social and economic safety-net of street children and working children Bank Asia has participated in Bangladesh Bank’s initiative of opening bank account for them.

In the formal inauguration of the program held on Saturday (31 June, 2014) at Bangla Academy, Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman, S.K. Sur, Deputy Governor of BB and Mr. Aminul Islam, Managing Director (CC) of Bank Asia are seen with Taslima, a member of street children group supported by BRAC, an NGO, after opening of her account with Bank Asia.
