AIBL opens branch at Alipur, Patuakhali

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL) has opend its 118th branch at Alipur Bazar, Kuakata, Patuakhali. Director of the Bank Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah inaugurated the branch as Chief Guest while Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony.

Senior Vice President and Zonal Head Md. Manjurul Alam delivered the welcome speech while the occasion was addressed by Lecturer of Musulliabad Senior Madrasa Moulana Md. Abdus Salek, Chairman of Latachapli Union Parisad Abu Sayeed Fakir, Counselor of Kuakata Pourasabha Abdul Barek Mollah and President of Bangladesh Awami League, Latachapli Union Parishad Doctor Siddiqur Raman.

Among others Executive Vice President of the Bank Mohammad Nadim, Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Assistant Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present in the inauguration. A large number of local peoples, businessmen, clients and well-wishers participated on the ceremony. Manager of the branch Md. Salah Uddin thanked the audience.

Director Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit buy doing business but for the welfare of the society. Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman, in his speech, invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service. He also said, only Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
