AIBL opens branch at Laxmipur

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. opens its 130^th branch at Bazar Main Road, Laxmipur on 29 May 2016, Sunday. Director of the Bank Badiur Rahman inaugurated the branch as Chief Guest. Director Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah and Administrator of Laxmipur District Council Alhajj Md. Shamsul Islam were present as Special Guests while Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony.

Head of AIBL Comilla Md. Fazlur Rahman delivered the welcome speech. The occasion was addressed by prominent businessmen Md. Masudur Rahman, Raju Ahmed, Dr. Nurul Islam Sohel,Moulana Md. Ismail, Md. Absus Sattar and Abdul Aziz. Among others Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present in the inauguration. A large number of local peoples, businessmen, clients and well-wishers participated on the program. Manager of the branch Mahmudur Rahman Chowdhury thanked the audience.

Chief Guest Badiur Rahman, in his speech, said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit by doing business but only for the welfare of the society. Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman, in his speech, invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service. He also said, only Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
