Artificial insemination training center opens at Sreepur

American Dairy Limited (ADL) has been established an artificial insemination training center at Vangnahati, Sreepur, Gazipur by its own resources with the approval of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock.

In this connection a launching program/ ceremony was held on May 4, 2016 at Vangnahati, Sreepur where the Hon’ble State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Mr. Narayan Chandra Chanda, M.P was present as Chief Guest. Local Parliamentary Member, Al-haj Adv. Md. Rahmat Ali was the Special guest. In his speech the Hon’ble State Minister emphasized and ensured on necessary amendment and revising the Government rules and procedure to enable and encourage the Private entrepreneur so that the environment creates for Artificial Insemination activities. He appreciated the initiative taken by American Dairy Limited which will be useful for National development in Agricultural sector. He also inspected the Farm, Artificial Insemination Training Center, World Class Laboratory etc. and felt satisfaction. Hazrat Ali Akhanda, Deputy Director (Artificial Insemination & Grass Production), Livestock Department also present and delivered his valuable speech in the event.

The Special Guest, Hon’ble M.P Al-haj Md. Rahmta Ali appreciated the activities of ADL and thanked the Management for establishing such project which will be beneficial for the local people. The Chairman of the ADL Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin, spoken with highlighting its prospects. The Managing Director of ADL Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan also delivered his welcome address and Chief Operating Officer Dr. A. S. Alim explained the details of activities, technical aspects, and future plan of the Training Center. In this ceremony Government High Officials, distinguished guest, representatives from different organizations, High officials, field officials and students of ADL, representative from Print and Electronic Media were also presents.
