EC, Islami Bank sign MoU

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Election Commission Bangladesh signed Memorrandum of Understanding (MoU) for verifying the information and documents of the bank clients on February 4, 2016 at the election commission office.

In presence of Brig General Sultanuzzaman Md Saleh Uddin, Director General of the National Identity Registration Wing, Muhammad Abul Bashar, Deputy Managing Director of Islami Bank and Syed Md Musa, Director (Operations) of NID Department of the Commission singed the memorandum on behalf of respective institutions.

Md. Abdul Jabbar, AAM Habibur Rahman and Mohammad Jamaluddin, Exective Vice Presidents of the bank and high officials of the commission were present the MoU signing ceremony. The memorandum will enable Islami Bank to verify clients’ information and documents using the database of election commission.
