Bangladesh’s income from exports in the first two months of the 2015-16 fiscal grew 4.71 percent to nearly $5.38 billion, an official said on Wednesday.
The official said export performance for August was $2.76 billion — 27.73 percent higher than that in the same month a year ago.
Overall export growth dipped to single digit as demand for Made in Bangladesh garment items had not begun to pick up yet.
