Bangladesh to join Carnaval International de Victoria

The Honorary Consul of Seychelles in Bangladesh, Md. Amiruzzaman has confirmed that he has successfully negotiated to have a Cultural Delegation from Bangladesh to parade in the 2014 Carnaval International de Victoria in Seychelles.

This year the Carnival in Seychelles is being jointly co-hosted by Seychelles, La Reunion, Madagascar, Mayotte and South Africa KwaZulu Natal and it is seen as the perfect opportunities for countries from the Community of Nations to be seen flying their flags and showcasing their culture and in so doing their people as a base for their very own tourism marketing.

The Honorary Consul of Seychelles in Bangladesh said in a letter “As per our discussion, I would like to confirm Bangladesh Group presence in the International Carnival De Victoria. They will accompany with me on 22nd April via Srilankan Airlines. They will join opening session of carnival on 25th evening” Md Amiruzzaman said.

The Seychelles Honorary Consul in Bangladesh said that hegaped that the presence by Bangladesh in the Carnaval International de Victoria will help strengthen the relationship between the two friendly countries – Seychelles and Bangladesh.
