Bank Asia to help farmers purchase agri equipments

In order to help farmers purchase agricultural equipments, Bank Asia has signed agreement with Metal Plus Limited involved in manufacturing and fabricating agricultural machineries and equipments including tractors, trailers and harvesters.

Mr. Md. Arfan Ali, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank and Engr. Sadid Jamil, Managing Director of Metal Plus Ltd, inked the agreement on behalf of respective organizations at a function held at a city center in Dhaka recently. Engr.  Aminul Islam, Chairman of Metal Plus Ltd, Mr.  G. Hari, President of TAFE & TMTL (tractor manufacturer), India and other officials of the organizations were present.

As per the agreement, Bank Asia, being approached by The Metal (Pvt.) Ltd. & Metal Plus Ltd, will facilitate credit facilities to farmers who intend to purchase agricultural machineries and equipments from the companies.
