Bank Asia inks deal with Pran-RFL Group

Bank Asia and Pran-RFL Group has joined hands to reach banking services to people by setting up agent banking outlet inside Pran-RFL’s Daily Shopping and Best Buy outlets through the country and facilitate financial services to Pran-RFL’s workers. Three separate agreements to this effect have been signed between the two organizations at a simple ceremony held at Rangs Bhaban at Tejgaon Old Airport Road in the capital city Dhaka today (Tuesday, January 31, 2017).

In presence Mr. A Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of Bank Asia and Mr. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman & Chief Executive of Pran-RFL Group the agreements were inked respectively by Ms. Uzma Chowdhury, CPA, Director of Pran-RFL Group, Mr. Mohammed Borhanuddin, Senior Executive Vice President of Bank Asia, Mr. Abdul Latif, Senior Vice President & Head of Scotia Branch and Mr. Ahsan Ul Alam, Vice President & Head of Agent Banking Division of the Bank. Vice Chairmen of Bank Asia Mr. Mohd. Safwan Choudhury and Mr. AM Nurul Islam, Chairman of Board Executive Committee Mr. Rumee A Hossain, Chairman of Board Audit Committee Mr. Mashiur Rahman, Director Mr. M. Shahajahan Bhuiyan, President & Managing Director Mr. Md. Arfan Ali and Deputy Managing Director Mr. Mohammed Zahirul Alam were, among other, present.

As per the agreements, Bank Asia Agent Banking will set service delivery points inside PRAN-RFL group’s Daily Shopping and Best Buy, establish ATM booth in a factory premise in Iswardi and open collection account for SUN BASIC CHEMICALS LTD., a concern of PRAN RFL group
