Bank Asia provides scholarship in Munshigonj

As a part of corporate social responsibility, Bank Asia has provided higher studies scholarship to 40 meritorious students of Malkhanagor, Sirajdikhan, Baligaon and Nimtola in Munshigonj and Rohitpur of Keranigonj and Agla Bazar of Nababgonj Upazila in Dhaka district on Friday (09 December, 2016).

Mr. A. Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of the Bank handed over the scholarship money to the students at a function held at Malkhanagor Degree College auditorium. Chairman of the Board Executive Committee of the Bank Mr. Rumee A Hossain, Vice Chairman of Rangs Group Mr. Amanullah Chowdhury, President & Managing Director of Bank Asia Mr. Md. Arfan Ali, Additional Managing Director Mr. Aminul Islam, Sirajdikhan Upazila Chairman Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed were, among others, present.

A large number of people including students, teachers, journalists, businessmen and local elite attended the function.

It may be mentioned that Bank Asia gives scholarships for higher study to the meritorious students in the rural areas, where the Bank has branches. A total of 240 (two hundred forty) students have been selected for Bank Asia Higher Studies Scholarship for the current year.
