Bank Asia’s audited accounts 2014 approved

The Board of Directors of Bank Asia in its meeting held on Thursday (26th February, 2015) in the Board Room at Rangs Bhaban, Bijoy Saroni in the Capital city Dhaka, under the chairmanship of Mr. A. Rouf Chowdhury, has approved audited financial statements of the Bank for the year ended December 31, 2014.

During the year, the operating profit of the Bank was BDT 5,778.83 million. The Board of Directors recommended 10% stock dividend and 5% cash for the year 2014. The paid-up capital of the Bank was BDT 7,629.95 million and after 10% stock dividend it will be raised to BDT 8,392.95 million. The total asset of the Bank stood at 18,273.94 million.

The Board decided to hold the 16^th Annual General Meeting of the Bank on 31^st March, 2015 at Dhaka Ladies Club, 36 Eskaton Garden Road, Dhaka-1000 at 11:00 am.
