BASIC Bank holds its 31st AGM

The 31^st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BASIC Bank Limited was held through video conferencing on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

Professor Dr. Abul Hashem, Chairman of the Board of Directors presided over the meeting. Md. Rafiqul Alam, Managing director of the bank delivered the welcome speech. Rukhsana Hasin, Joint Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance attended the meeting as the representative of the Bank’s sole shareholder the Govt. of Bangladesh.

Among others- Md. Shaheb Ali Mridha, Md. Razib Parvez and Md. Rafiqul Islam – members of the Board of Directors, Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, observer appointed by Bangladesh Bank, Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and representative of Audit firm, M/S. Aziz Halim Khair Chowdhury were also present in the meeting. The meeting approved the financial statements for the year 2019 of the Bank.
