BATB gets ICSB gold award

British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) received gold categorized award of ‘ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence-2013’ in manufacturing category for practicing good governance.

BATB Chairman Golam Mainuddin and Managing Director Shezad Munim received the award from finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith at a ceremony held at a convention center in the city recently.

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has given the awards in five categories to promote governance excellence in the country’s corporate sector.
