BB, SJIBL sign deal on financing facility

An agreement has been signed between Bangladesh Bank (BB) and Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) on “Long Term Financing Facility under Financial Sector Support Project” assisted by the World Bank on 03^rd January 2016 at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall, Bangladesh Bank, Head office, Dhaka.

In the presence of Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Mr. S. K. Sur Chowdhury, The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. (SJIBL) Mr. Farman R Chowdhury and Executive Director and Project Director of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Md. Ahsan Ullah signed on the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Among others the Representatives of the World Bank, High officials of Bangladesh Bank, Deputy Managing Director of SJIBL Mr. M. Akhter Hossain, SEVP Mr. Md. Mahmudul Haque, EVP and Head of Corporate Division Mr. Md. Monzurul Alam Chowdhury and GM of Bangladesh Bank Mr. AFM Asaduzzaman were also present in the agreement signing ceremony.
