BD Finance declares 10pc stock dividend

The 19^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Finance And Investment Company Ltd. (BD finance) has teken place on Thursday, 7^th June 2018 at BCIC auditorium, Dhaka. Mr Manwar Hossain Chairman, BD Finance presided over the meeting. In the Meeting The Company has declared 10% Stock dividend to its shareholders for the year ended 2017.

The meeting was attended, among others, by Director Mr. Geasuddin Ahmed, Mr. khondker Fazle Rashid, Mr. Yousuf Aman, Mr. Haider Ahmed Khan, FCA, Mr. Ansar Uddin Ahmed, Mr. Imtiyaj Yousuf, & Mr. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director & CEO. Mr. Humayun Shoab. Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Munshi Abu Naim ACS, Company Secretary along with other high officials were also present on the occasion. A good number of shareholders attended the meeting.

In 2017, BD Finance earned consolidated net profit after tax of TK. 209.78 million which was 49.71 percent higher than that of 2016. Earnings per share (EPS) increased to TK. 1.52 from TK.1.01 The Company’s balance-sheet footing increased by 7.13 percent, as at the end of 2017, compared to the previous year.
