Mr Syed Naved Husain, CEO of Beximco was speaking at a workshop named “Fashionomics 2014 – The New Economics of Fashion” organized by Fibre2fashion in association with Infor and Brandix i3, on March 20, 2014 at Dhaka – Bangladesh.
“Companies like Beximco have been able to set an example for Bangladesh as the largest vertically integrated textile and garment company with in-house analytical and creative abilities. The continuous focus on innovation, use of technology, product development & “speed” in serving the customer can provide outstanding edge to Bangladeshi companies.”
He concludes by saying, “There is a growing awareness among Textiles & Apparel companies in Bangladesh about need for reform & adopt best management practices to face the growing challenges.”
This by-invitation only workshop witnessed attendance from over 100 delegates, including senior management, officials and professionals, representing various apparel manufacturing companies, brands and retailers based in Bangladesh.
