BIA holds basic course on non-life insurance

Mr. Sheikh Kabir Hossain, President, Bangladesh Insurance Association(BIA) inaugurated the 17th Basic Course on “Non-Life insurance” Organized by Bangladesh Insurance Association on 30th March, 2015 at BIA Conference Room. 35 (thirty five) officers from 19 non-life insurance companies are participating in the course.

Mr. Sheikh Kabir Hossain, in his inaugural speech exhorted the participants to take up the course seriously to build up their career in the industry which needed a large number of professionally qualified manpower. This training programme would given them an opportunity to know each other as well. The companies would also evaluate the performances of the participants of the course for their future prospects.

Mr. Ahasanul Islam Titu, Vice-President, Bangladesh Insurance Association, Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Member, Executive Committee, BIA, and the Vice-Chairman, Karnaphuli Insurance, Mr. P.K. Roy FCA, Member, Executive Committee, BIA and Managing Director, Rupali Insurance and Mr. Mollah Md. Nurul Islam, Secretary General, BIA spoke on the occasion.
