BIAC signs MOU with Anwar Group on ADR

Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Anwar Group of Industries for cooperation on any dispute resolution using ADR methods. The Signing Ceremony was held on Tuesday ( 30 June, 2015) at the Head Office of Anwar Group at 27, Dilkusha C/A, Dhaka.

Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman, BIAC and Mr. Manwar Hossain, Group Managing Director, Anwar Group of Industries signed the MOU on behalf of their respective organisations. Mr. Anwar Hossain Chairman and Mr. Hossain Khaled Director of Anwar Group of Industries, who is also the current President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), were present during the MOU signing ceremony.

The MOU will provide a framework to facilitate resolution of contractual and commercial disputes (if arises) of Anwar Group of Industries and its affiliated companies using ADR methods- namely Arbitration and Mediation, through expertise services of BIAC.
