BRAC Varsity students on industrial visit at Gzipur

A  group of students of BRAC Business School went to an industrial visit at DBL industrial park at Gazipur recently. They went this time through their upstream of the value chain, Matin spinning.

This study tour was organized for the current students of Production-operation Management course under BBA program. A total of 36 students of this course visited this time and gained remarkable hands-on experience practically going through their operations.

The visit was guided by the course faculty, Md. Tamzidul Islam from BRAC Business School and a group of executives from DBL. Among them Md. Shamimul Haque, General Manager and Md. Golam Kibria, Assistant General Manager were present on this occasion. The program started with a corporate presentation for half an hour and then followed by step by step demonstration of processes within their production facilities.

The visit was aimed not only to provide practical experience so that they can better relate with classroom learning but also create interest for this sector as a potential career option which contributes 80 percent of national export.
