Chief adviser to meet BNP leaders this afternoon

Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Interim Government’s Chief Adviser, is set to meet with senior BNP leaders at his residence on Monday around 4:00 PM. The meeting was confirmed by Sayrul Kabir Khan, an officer from the BNP Chairperson’s press wing. BNP’s standing committee members, led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, will attend the meeting at the invitation of Dr. Yunus.

This meeting follows the formation of the interim government on August 8, after the ousting of Sheikh Hasina in the wake of a student-led mass uprising.
