DHL signs agreement with Farmers Bank      

DHL Express, the world’s leading express company, has recently signed an agreement with The Farmers Bank Limited (FIBL), to provide international express delivery to the bank and its customers.

An official corporate signing ceremony took place between DHL Express Bangladesh and The Farmers Bank Limited at the head office of FIBL recently. The agreement was signed by Desmond Quiah, Country Manager, DHL Express Bangladesh and Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, FIBL on behalf of their respective organizations.

Under this agreement, FIBL will use DHL Express services for time-sensitive international documents. DHL’s service includes automated shipment preparation, pre-scheduled pick-up, a modern shipment tracking system and shipment processing at DHL’s state-of-the-art operational facilities in the country, with connectivity to more than 220 countries and territories worldwide.

Desmond Quiah, Country Manager of DHL Express said, “This agreement paves the way to reaffirm our commitment to be closer to our customers. I believe our extensive presence across the globe and state of the art facility in express industry will help FIBL to maintain and strengthen their reputation for service excellence.

DHL Express has been operating in Bangladesh since 1979. Today, it is the largest international express delivery company in Bangladesh, with a fast expanding network of 30 service locations in Bangladesh, supported by more than 61 vehicles and nearly 400 employees.
