DSE up, CSE down at opening

Share price index at the country’s premier bourse, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed positive trend while that of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw downtrend in early hours of trading on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.  

The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 1.51 points or 0.03 percent to reach 4650.26 at 11:15 am. Of the issues traded till then, 137 gained, 55 declined and 38 remained unchanged.  

Meanwhile, the CSE key index, CSCX lost 4.19 points to stand at 8937.71 points, also at 11:15 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 50 gained, 42 declined and 16 remained unchanged. -UNB
