The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) was reconstituted on Monday following the formation of a new cabinet for election oversight.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will continue to hold her office as Ecnec chairman while Finance Minister AMA Muhith as its alternative chairman, said a Cabinet Division notification.
The other Ecnec members are Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Planning Minister AK Khandker, Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Khandkar Mosharraf Hossain, Food Minister Ramesh Chandra Sen, Foreign Minister Abdul Hasan Mahmud Ali and Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan.
