Five arrested while cheating during DU admission test

The examiners have caught five admission seekers on the first day of the admission tests for the first year honours courses at Dhaka University for cheating in examination halls.

The examiners caught the students at Badrunnesa College, Ideal College, Home Economics College and Government Laboratory and School examination centres on Friday morning.

Dhaka University’s acting proctor Amzad Ali said: “They were caught while they were allegedly forging in the examination with the help of mobile phones.”

“They have been handed over the police of the respected police stations where the centres are located,” he said.
