IBBL awarded gold medal for remittance services

Islami Bank Bangladesh Lmited (IBBL) has been awarded Gold Medal for its outstanding contribution to the foreign remittance services of Bangladesh.

In presence of HT Imam, Gowhar Rizvi, Advisors of Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Atiur Rahman, Governor, Bangladesh Bank on behalf of Centre for NRBs handed over the award to Abdus Sadeque Bhuiyan, Executive Vice President and Head of International Banking Wing of IBBL at a function held on Tuesday, April 25, 2015 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka.

Presided over by S.M Shekil Chowdhury, Chairperson of Centre for NRBs, Hafiz Ahmed Mojumder, Chairman, Bangladesh Red Crecent Society, Daniel Keen, Chief of Economic and Commercial of US Embassy in Bangladesh, Professor Mustafizur Rahman, Executive Editor, Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) were present on the occasion.
