IBBL, Bank Asia donate for martyred BDR officers

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has received financial assistance of Tk 19 lakh 20 thousand and Tk 4.8 lakh  from Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) and Bank Asia respectively as the 6^th year financial support for families of the martyred Army officers in the Pilkhana carnage. The prime minister handed over cheques to the members of the martyred officers’ family at a function held at her office on Tuesday.

Present on the occasion were, IBBL chairman Prof Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher and Vice Chairman Engr Mustafa Anwar and from Bank Asia, were A Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman and AM Nurul Islam, Vice Chairman of the bank.

Islami Bank shared responsibilities of financial support to four families of the martyred Army officers in the Pilkhana carnage amounting one crore and ninety two lac taka for ten years.
