IBBL commemorates its former director Mosharraf

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organised a remembrance meeting and doa mahfil for Muhammad Mosharraf Hossain, sponsor and former director of the Bank at Mohammad Younus auditorium at the Islami Bank Tower on Monday (25 August 2014).

Presided over by Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman of the Bank, the program was addressed by Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Vice Chairman, Engr. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director, Zakiuddin Ahmed, Professor Muhammad Abdullah and Engr. Muhammad Dawood Khan, Sponsors, Mohd. Shamsul Haque and Md. Abul Bashar, Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank, on behalf of deceased’s family Md. Shahadat Hossain, younger brother, Farah Anjum Bari, daughter and SA Bari, son-in-law. Family members of the deceased and top Executives of the Bank were also present in the program.

Speakers at the meeting discussed the life and works of late Mosharraf Hossain and recalled his role in promoting the nation with profound homage. They highlighted his foresighted role and contribution in the readymade garments industries and mobilization of foreign remittance for sustainable and long term economic development of the country. They said that late Mosharraf Hossain may be an example of successful entrepreneur with honesty, foresight, wisdom and amicable personality. He was a dynamic, inspiring leader and motivating guide. His friendly personality could easily attract ones. He was a dedicated person for the welfare of the country as well as the nation. The speakers expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for his eternal peace.
