IBBL former director Nur Mohammad dies

Nur Mohammad Akon, former alternate director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) passed away on Wednesday at a CityHospital due to brain sroke (Innalillahi—-Raziun). He was 82.  He left behind three sons, three daughters a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.

He was the Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd from 1997 to 2003. Prior to this, he served as Chairman of BRTA, Director of General of Postal Department of Bangladesh.

Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman and Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the bank expressed deep shock at the death of Nur Mohammad Akon and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family members.

Special Doa and Munazat was offered for his eternal peace.
