IBBL gives reception to East Zone cricket team

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) gave reception to the players, coaches and officials of Islami Bank East Zone of Bangladesh Cricket League for wining the one-day tournament trophy. The reception was given on 13 April 2015, Monday at Islami Bank Tower through a program.

Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Bank greeted the players as the chief guest. Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director, the program was attended by Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam and Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Directors, Abdus Sadeque Bhuiyan, Md. Shamsuzzaman, Nazrul Islam Khan, Md. Abdul Jabbar, Shafiqul Mowla, Abu Reza Mohd. Yeahia, Md. Yeanur Rahman, Executive Vice Presidents, Sarwar Imran, Head Coach and Hasibul Hossain Shanto, Manager of Islami Bank East Zone along with top executives of the Bank and players of the team were present.

Islami Bank East Zone scored champion for the first time in one-day tournament organized by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on 12 April 2015 Sunday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium beating BCB North Zone by three wickets. Bangladesh Cricket Board organized the franchised cricket tournament with the participation of national cricketers. A total of four teams participated in the tournament starting from April 5, 2015. Each team confronted once with each other before the final match.
