IBBL, icddr,b sign MoU

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and The International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for contribution to the formation of Islami Bank Bangladesh Nutrition Unit & Islami Bank Bangladesh Young Research Fellows Programme in icddr,b.

Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO of Islami Bank and Prof. John D Clemens, MD, Executive Director of icddrb signded the MoU on their respective institutions on November 8, 2016 Tuesday at Islami Bank Tower. Under the MoU, Islami Bank shall donate Tk.87.5 million for running the nutrition unit and carrying out research programme for the tenure of 5 years.

Shamsuzzaman, Deputy Managing Directors of Islami Bank, Dr. Tahmeed Ahmed, Senor Director, Nutrition and Clinical Services Division, Catherine Spencer, Principal Communications Lead, Anthony Flynn, Director, Development and Mohammad Hasan Habib, Head, Regulatory and Legal Affairs of icddrb and top executives of IBBL were present the signing ceremony.
