IBBL new branch at Boalkhali, Chittagong

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) inaugurated its 289th branch at Boalkhali of Chittagong  on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Nurul Islam Khalifa, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank inaugurated the branch as chief guest.

Mohammed Monirul Moula, Executive Vice President of the Bank and Shahida Akter Shefu, Vice Chairman of Boalkhali Upazila were present in the function as special guests.

Mohammed. Amirul Islam, Executive Vice President & Head of Chittagong South zone of the Bank presided over the function. The program was addressed by Noor Mohammad, chairman, Sharwatoli Union parishad, SM Jasim, Chairman, Kobadia Union Parisad, Badal Chandra Das, former Chairman of Shakpura Union Parisad, Dr. Abu Naser, Shawkat Osman Chowdhury, Nandita bosu, Syed Nasir Uddin and Monsuf Ali from among the clients and well wishers. Muhammad Borhan Uddin, Manager of Boalkhali branch thanked the audience.

Seminar on Superiority and Success of Islamic Banking

A seminar on ‘Superiority and Success’ of Islamic Banking was held at the branch premises on November, 14, 2014 on the occasion of inauguration of Boalkhali Branch of the Bank. The seminar was presided over by Nurul Islam Khalifa, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank. Mohammed Amirul Islam, Executive Vice President & head of Chittagong South Zone presented the Keynote paper. Prof. Dr. Abu Bakr Rafique, Member Secretary of Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank, Dr. ASM Abdul Mannan, Professor of Arabic Department of Chittagong University, Shahida Akter Shefu, Vice Chairman of Boalkhali Upazila, Bodrus Meher and Alhaz Moulana Noor Mohammad discussed on the topic.
