Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) opened its 308th Branch at Pangsha of Rajbari. Md. Zillul Hakim, MP of Rajbari-2 constituency inaugurated the branch as chief guest on October 30, 2016 Sunday.
Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, Md. Abdul Mabud, PPM, Chairman, Risk Management Committee and Prof. Dr. Md. Sirajul Karim, Director of the bank addressed the program as special guests.
The inaugural ceremony was addressed, among others by Ms. Sayeeda Hakim, woman leader, Md. 
Farid Hasan Wadud, Chairman, Pangsha Upazila, KM Shafiqul Morshed Aruz, Acting Principal, Pangsha Govt. College, Md. Hasan Ali Biswas, Former, Chairman, Pangsha Upazila, Nikhil Kumar Dutta, President, Traders’ Association, Ms. Durga Rani Paul, Poura Councilor, Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, EVP and Head of Development Wing, Md. Abdus Salam, SVP and Head of Barisal Zone and Md. On the occasion of inauguration of 308th Pangsha Branch, a seminar on ‘Superiority and Success of Islamic Banking System’ was held at the Branch premises on October 29, 2016, Saturday. Md. Abdul Mabud, PPM, Chairman, Risk Management Committee of the bank was present in the seminar as chief guest, Prof. Dr. Md. Sirajul Karim, Director of the bank attended as special guest. Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO, Md. Abdus Salam, SVP and Head of Barisal zone presented keynote paper in the seminar. Dr. Hasan Mohammad Moinuddin, Member, Shariah Supervisory Committee of the bank addressed the seminar as chief discussant. Md. Abu Musa Ashary, Principal, Pangsha Shahjui Kamil Madrasah addressed the seminar among others.
