IBCF seminar on Islamic Banking held

Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF) has organized a seminar titled ‘Islamic Banking: Bangladesh Perspective’ at a local hotel recently.

Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ali, President, Islamic Development Bank (IDB) was the Chief Guest in the seminar.

Md. Abdul Mannan, State Minister for finance attended the seminar as special guest while Dr. Atiur Rahman, Governor, Bangladesh Bank attended the function as guest of honor.

Noted Islamic banking specialist M. Azizul Haque presented the key note paper. Presided over by Prof. Abu Nasser Mohammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman, IBCF & Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, A. K. Azad, Chairman, Shahjalal Islami Bank & former President, FBCCI addressed the welcome speech and Major (rtd) Dr. Rezaul Haque, Chairman, Social Islami Bank thanked the audience.

AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Convenor, Seminar Preparation Committee & Vice Chairman, EXIM Bank Foundation was moderator in the function.
