ICAB organizes training on ERP Software

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh organized training on ERP Software – SAP (FICO Module) for its members with a view to achieving dynamism in management capability at its auditorium which ended on Saturday evening, 13 September 2014. A total of 20 members of ICAB participated in the training.

Nazrul Islam Khan, Secretary, Technology Division, Ministry of Information and Communication distributed the certificates to the participants at a formal ceremony on Saturday. ICAB President Md. Showkat Hossain FCA, Vice President Dewan Nurul Islam FCA, Council Member and Past Presidents Anwaruddin Chowdhury FCA, Md. Syful Islam FCA, Md Abdus Salam FCA, Nasir Uddin Ahmed FCA, Council member Gopal Chandra Ghosh           FCA and ICAB Secretary AKM Rahmat Ullah FCA were present during the occasion.

The training was organized to introduce the participants to SAP environment and provide fundamental knowledge about functionalities of all SAP modules. The participants will be oriented with matters like business processes and performing day to day activities of FI & CO module. This will build mastery in financial reporting, managing financial risk, measuring financial performance, running corporate treasury and managing costs and working capital associated with corporate entities.

As Chartered Accountants in the key leadership positions of business activities, they are the prime users of IT and ERP systems. Through this training the participants will be able to lead the SAP implementation team and also will be able to play leading role in SAP environment. SAP conversant Business professionals, Chartered accountants, Auditors, Finance Management officials are given top priority in any business functions.

This course was planned to highlight user-centric aspects of FICO module. The participants found themselves well-versed with total SAP overview, reporting features in SAP FICO and SAP business processes as well.
