The interim government, led by Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus, is set to take the oath of office tonight at around 8:00 pm.
The Cabinet Division has completed all necessary preparations for the ceremony. Vehicles have been arranged to transport officials from their residences to Bangabhaban, where the oath-taking will occur.
Sources from the Ministry of Public Administration informed The Daily Star that the Department of Government Transport is handling the logistics for the vehicles. A total of 21 vehicles have been readied, with 18 allocated for the primary transport of officials and three kept on standby for emergencies.
The chief adviser will travel in a vehicle from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) transport pool, while the other vehicles have been specially arranged for the advisers.
