Economics Dept becomes JU Football Champion

The Economics Department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) became champion in the Inter-Department Football Competition held at the central playground on the campus here on Monday, a press release said.

The final round of the competition was held yesterday while JU Bangla department was defeated by 3-1 goals.

Presided over by the chairman of the Sports Management Committee Bashir Ahmed, JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Abul Hossain enjoyed the event as the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the winners while Treasurer Professor Dr. Abul Khair was present as the special guest.
