Khairul re-elected CSE Director

Mohammad Khairul Anam Chowdhury has been re-elected as director of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE). He was elected uncontested as director by the CSE election committee for the year 2015-2016.

CSE election schedule was announced on 15^th March. The last date for submission of nomination paper was 08^th April. As per the association article Mohammad Khairul Anam Chowdhury retired from the current board and re submitted his nomination paper. As no other candidate submitted nomination paper on the last day he was declared elected as Director. So the board of directors remain same as previous.

Mohammad Khairul Anam Chowdhury is the Chief Executive Officer & Director of LankaBangla Securities Limited. He joined Vanik Bangladesh Securities Limited as a probationary officer on July 15, 1999 which is now known as Lanka Bangla Securities Limited. He was promoted to Manager-Chittagong Office on January, 2004 in the same company. He became the Assistant General Manager-Operation for Chittagong Office on March, 2006 and later was promoted as Deputy General Manager on March, 2008. He became the General Manager on January, 2009 and was later promoted as the Chief Operating Officer on October, 2010. He became CEO on August, 2014.
