To meet the increasing demand of actuary professionals, MetLife has been working to encourage potential students to actuarial science education. MetLife has taken up the initiative of “Actuarial Study Programme” to meet the demand of skilled manpower in the insurance sector as part of its social responsibility. Under this program, in January 2015, MetLife selected six students from the Department of Mathematics, University of Dhaka for Actuarial Science Education scholarship.
