Midland Bank donates for Nepal victims

Banking sector of the country has donated to Nepal earthquake victims overwhelmingly. On 7th May 2015, Midland Bank Limited donated 407 pcs of Tarpaulin for Nepal earthquake victims as part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

In Presence of Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman, Managing Director of Midland Bank Ltd. Mr. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, handed over a token of Bank’s contribution to His Excellency Mr. Hari Kumar Shrestha, Ambassador of Nepal in Bangladesh at a ceremony held at a city hotel in Gulshan on 01st June 2015.

Mr. S K Sur Chowdhury, Deputy Governor and Mr. M. Mahfuzur Rahman, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank were also present in the function along with high officials of different Banks and Financial Institutions.
