Jahangirnagar University Model United Nation Association organised a three-day Model United Conference at Jaheer Raihan Auditoriam here on the campus started on Thursday (27-08-2015) .
At least 250 delegates from differents schools, colleges and universities at home and abroad took part in the conference, said a press release.
At the inauguration of the conference, Prof Farzana Islam said that our nation will get qualify leadership through like this programme. It creates a great impact on our country’s diplomacy. Students should continue theirs efforts to achieve the leadership qualities since their student days.
She also expressed the hope that the students of JU Model United Nations conference will acquire the qualities of leadership through the programme.
Among others, Toriqul Islam, Adviser of JUMUNA and teacher of Government and Polotics dept, Md Riyajul Karim, secretary general of JUMUNA, addressed the programme while Md. Mamun Mia, president of MUNA, chaird the programme.
