New Bank Asia Branch at Uttara in city

The 80th branch of Bank Asia Ltd started its operation at Sonargaon-Janapath Road, Uttara in the city from Monday.

Bank’s chairman A Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of the inaugurated the new branch while its vice-chairmen  AM Nurul Islam and Mohammed Lakiotullah, chairman of Executive Committee Mohd. Safwan Choudhury, Chairman of Board Audit Committee Shah Md. Nurul Alam and President and Managing Director Md. Mehmood Husain were present on the occasion, says a press release.

Members of the business community, local elite and a large number of people also attended the auspicious event. The new branch has all the modern banking facilities including on-line banking and ATM.
