Niaz Habib new managing director of Dhaka Bank

Mr. Niaz Habib has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited with effect from June 2, 2014. Prior to his present position, he has been working as the Additional Managing Director of the Bank. He is a skilled banker with more than 36 years of rewarding multi-dimensional experience in both local and foreign banks.

Prior to this Bank, he worked for Premier Bank Limited, AB Bank Limited, United Commercial Bank Limited, Eastern Bank Limited and American Express Bank. Mr. Niaz started his career in 1978 at Bangladesh Shilpa Bank Limited as Financial Analyst/Investment Officer.

Mr. Niaz completed his Master of Business Administration from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of University of Dhaka in 1977. He also completed his M.A. in Economics with Honours from the University of Rajshahi. He is the proud father of a daughter and a son.
