Staff committee of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission on Sunday said that the Rural Electrification Board would need to raise the retail power price by 0.27 per cent and the Dhaka Electric Supply Company would not need to raise the price.
The staff committee on Tuesday said that the PDB would need to raise the average bulk price of electricity by 5.15 per cent and on the following day it said that the PGCB would need to raise only 1.53 per cent.
With Sunday’s hearing the BERC concluded the four-day hearings on the proposals for power price hike.
