Ranks Petroleum shares expertise on lubrication solutions

Ranks Petroleum Limited, a concern of Rangs Group, has recently organized a knowledge sharing seminar with the industry officials from power and energy sector in Dhaka.

It is the sole distributor of world’s number 1 brand Shell Lubricants in Bangladeshi market.

Shell has a long term international relationship with Wärtsilä, a global leader in power and energy sector, to provide lubrication solution to its engines. To develop similar relation in Bangladesh, Ranks Petroleum Ltd. has organized this knowledge-sharing event for independent power producers (IPPs), who are playing key roles in meeting the ever increasing electricity demand. Among the power-engines used in these IPPs, Wärtsilä is the leading brand having 2400 MW installed capacity as of 2015.
