Robi signs agreement with CIMA

Robi Axiata Ltd, the country’s second largest mobile operator in terms of revenue, and CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), signed an internship program agreement on Thursday (22 May 2014).

Matiul Islam Nowshad, Chief Human Resources Officer, Robi Axiata Limited and, Bradley Emerson, Regional Director of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, during a small ceremony held at the Robi Corporate Office in Gulshan.

In the light of the agreement Robi will provide Internship opportunities to a significant number of CIMA students, based on the project. CIMA would extend a 50% waiver/ discount on its standard registration fees for all the Robi staff interested in taking courses at CIMA.

Supun Weerasinghe, Managing Director and CEO & Yap Wai Yip, Chief Financial Officer were present from Robi; and Ms. Zareef Tamanna Matin, Country Manager, was present from CIMA Bangladesh.
