Robi signs MoU with SUST

Robi Axiata Ltd and ShahjalalUniversity of Science & Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for internship by students of the university. The MoU signing programme was held in the Academic Building of SUST on Saturday.

Under the agreement, students of ShahjalalUniversity of Science & Technology may complete an internship at Robi, says a press release.

At the signing ceremony, Chief Human Resources Officer of Robi Axiata Matiul Islam Nowshad said, “Robi is trying to build a world class working environment to match its workplace transformation initiative. Our group company, Axiata Berhad, is working for talent development for Asia. As part of it, Robi is developing its talents for Bangladesh.”

VC Prof Dr Md Aminul Hauqe Bhuiyan, Dean of School of Management & Business Administration Prof Dr Md. Nazrul Islam, Robi’s Human Resources VP Sharmin Sultan were also present at the signing ceremony.

Later, Robi gave a corporate presentation at the ShahjalalUniversity of Science & Technology to familiarize students with the corporate world and how to prepare themselves to work in a corporate environment. The students were also briefed on how to lead a team while maintaining interpersonal relations in a world-class working environment.
