Robi sponsors Robo-Fight at CUET

A Robo-Fight competition has been held at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) campus on 26th November, 2014 to spark student’s innovation. Robi Axiata Ltd., one of the leading mobile operators of the country; sponsored the competition. 40 universities from across the country participated in the competition. Ten teams from different universities participated in ESDC competition.

 The competition was held as the part of the two day long 1st National Conference on Electrical & Communication Engineering and Renewable Energy (ECERE 2014). The main conference was divided into 6 sessions. The conference ended on 27^th November 2014. Teachers and students of CUET presented more than 30 articles on different topics at the conference. The entire program was presided over by Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Chairman, Electrical & Communication Engineering Department. The program ended with a prize giving ceremony.

Mr. Shyam Shundor Shikdar, Secretary, Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministry, was present at the program as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, Vice Chancellor, CUET was present in the program as the Guest of Honor. Professor Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, CUET and Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Dean, Electrical and Computer Engineering were present at the program as Special Guests.
